1. The Waking Dead

The Walking Dead is an American horror drama TV series based on the comic book with the same name. It was developed by Frank Darabont and since the premiere on October 31, 2010 on AMC it has been present on all the top drama television listings. The Waking Dead is the story of a small group of post-zombie apocalypse survivors. The plot is focused around the dilemmas the group must face as they attempt to maintain their humanity and also survive. Critics acclaimed the show which has also received a Golden Globe Award, strong Nielsen ratings and the Writers Guild of America Award. The season three finale reached 12.4 million viewers, making it the most watched drama series in the history of cable.

2. Breaking Bad

Vince Gilligan’s crime drama series presents the story of Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer. Having nothing to lose, he turns to a life of crime and starts producing methamphetamine to ensure a future for his family. The series debuted on January 20, 2008 on AMC in the United States and Canada. Breaking Bad is considered one of the greatest TV dramas of all time and is present on the most-watched television listings in America. It won ten Primetime Emmy Awards and it was nominated for a Golden Globe Award and Best Television Series.

3. Game of Thrones

This fantasy drama television series is present on the television listings of every film enthusiast. Game of Thrones is a successful adaptation of George R. R. Martin’s series of fantasy novels, A Song of Ice and Fire. Every details of this great series is flawless, from story, distribution and location to soundtracks and costumes. The complex series explores the issues of religion, corruption, hierarchy, crime, civil war and sexuality through its enigmatic characters. Game of Thrones has an international fan base and has received many awards and nominations, including a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Television Series Drama, a Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation and the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.
