Community gardens are plots of land usually owned by the government and which are offered to neighborhoods and communities for the growing of fruits and vegetables, but they may also refer to one community’s endeavors to preserve a natural green area or to plant flowers and trees on the streets.
Although they were not made for small spaces, English gardens can easily fit in a small yard if you know how to take advantage of the lay of the land and if you use your imagination; creating layers and steps of flowers will confer depth to your garden, and climbing plants can mask betraying elements like fences.
Most inexperienced gardeners fail to keep their gardens alive during droughts because they don’t know how to use the tools at their disposal and how to divide their resources effectively in order to serve different kinds of flowers, vegetables or fruits.
