Claude Monet along with Renoir, Edgar Degas, Camille Pissarro, Berthe Morisot and Paul Cézanne were part of an artistic group that founded and nurtured impressionism. Their contributions as impressionist artists led to the creation of numerous, priceless works of art. Other artists such as Van Goth or Paul Cezanne used impressionist in order to develop other styles.
