These arts and crafts for girls are perfect for kids of all ages. You can do all three or just select one that your girl likes best. Nevertheless, boys can also help if they want to be part of the fun!
1. Confetti Bowl
The confetti bowl is one of the most creative crafts for girls. With so little, you can create a colorful bowl that you can use to store toys, keys, candy and whatever else your kid wants. You will need one balloon, a small vase or glass, confetti, a sponge and Mod Podge.
Step 1 – Inflate the balloon and insert it into the vase with the valve inside to keep it still while you work.
Step 2 – Use the sponge to coat the top half of the balloon with Mod Podge. Sprinkle a thick layer of confetti all over it.
Step 3 – After it dries add another coat of glue and confetti. You can add as many layers as you like until you achieve a thick coat.
Step 4 – Let it try for 8-10 hours and then pop the balloon with a sharp object. Your bowl is now ready! You can leave it with irregular edges or cut it straight.
2. Growing Bean
The growing been is one of the easiest crafts for girls because it only requires an empty clear jar, one or two runner bean seeds and several sheets of kitchen roll.
Step 1 – Roll the sheets of paper into a tube so you can insert it into the jar.
Step 2 – Add an inch of water to the bottom of the jar so that it can travel up the kitchen roll.
Step 3 – Place the bean in the jar and wait for it to germinate. The kids can watch it while it quickly grows roots and after they can plant it into the garden. After the plant grows they will be able to eat the beans.
3. Glitter Bobby Pins
Bobby pins can hold back kid’s messy hair so that it doesn’t get in their food or in their eyes. With this great craft for girls, you can transform boring bobby pins into stylish accessories. You will need some bobby pins, clear nail polish, glitter glue and a scrap of paper.
Step 1 – Slide the bobby pins on the paper so you won’t make a glittery mess all over the table.
Step 2 – Apply glitter glut of the flat side of the pin starting under the tip then continue under the back. The flat side is actually the side you see in your hair because the wavy part holds your hair better.
Step 3 – Leave the glitter to dry for about 10 minutes and then apply some clear nail polish over it so it won’t peal off. Let it dry and try out you new original accessory.
